NATURAL OASIS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Like so many Cheryl had a pond that she just wasn’t happy with. It was in disrepair and built incorrectly but the calming power of water still drew her to the aquascape lifestyle. Originally looking for a solution to repair the existing pond they called us out to take a look. While chatting, we went for a walk around the property and walked her beautiful gardens. On our way though, Cheryl noted that there was a space that was used quite a bit when family and friends came over but was a little small and the grass overflow could get muddy in the spring. We came up with a solution! Extending the patio with huge oversized flagstone we installed a new 11’ x 16’ ecosystem pond with a 15’ long stream and waterfalls. Also check out that stump! We pulled it from the ravine that ran beside the house and repurposed it in the pond. We also brought the flagstone right to the edge of the pond to overhanging to create amazing interaction points, allowing you to feed the fish or hang your feet into the water! The new space is now perfect for whatever gatherings they may have or to just spend time relaxing quietly by the pond.
